The office leads the operative administration of the association climatop. It is the contact point for consumers as well as producers addressing all questions related to the label "approved by climatop".
The office informs producers over the advantages and opportunities of the label. It facilitates the contact to independent agencies for life-cycle assessment as well as to other competitors and provides marketing assistance.
It informs consumers about the life-cycle assessment methods, licensed products and the range of labelled products. It is responsible for a uniform market appearance and the communication of the contents and goals of climatop in the media and in the public. It aims at a pan-European integration of the label approach.
Quality control is an important element and a continuous process: The guidelines and instructions are refined according to the needs. The contacts to independent reviewing partners as well as to specialised advisors ensure the objectivity of the assessments.
